It’s early autumn when the hint of color is just a blush on the treetops. The profound quiet is broken for only a moment by the fluttering of birds overhead. Shadows spill into the shrine’s entrance marking the way for guests. This is a scene only Hasui could produce. In the design’s tranquility we find a profound sense of beauty.
